Neighborhood Homeschool was born from a desire among parents to see the day-to-day stories of families homeschooling in urban settings.  Homeschooling changes a family’s relationship to its community and environment.  After all, every nook of our surroundings becomes a classroom.

This blog will contain the diverse voices of many families who home-educate in cities.  Each family has different reasons for choosing to homeschool, different styles of educating, and of course, different personalities and priorities.  Neighborhood Homeschool celebrates the diversity and the cultural plenty of urban homeschooling.
